Product Description:
The Carlo Gavazzi RGC2A60A75GGEAF solid state relay is a compact, 70mm DIN rail mount solid state relay with an integrated fan capable of switching 75 amp three-phase loads at line voltages between 42Vac and 660Vac in a 40°C ambient. Known for Quality and reliability, the Carlo Gavazzi RGC2A60A75GGEAF solid state relay incorporates internal overvoltage protection and utilizes rugged back-to-back SCRs to switch power to/from electrical loads, making them the ideal switching solution in residential, commercial or harsh industrial environments.
The output of the RGC2A60A75GGEAF uses SCRs to switch two legs of a three-phase AC load. An internal bus connects the third leg to the three-phase load (no switching function). This reduces the total power dissipation by 33% since load current only flows through two pairs of SCRs, allowing for higher overall load-current ratings.
The input of the RGC2A60A75GGEAF can accept control signals from 20Vac to 275Vac, or 24Vdc to 190Vdc.
The Carlo Gavazzi RGC2A60A75GGEAF DIN mount solid state relay utilizes box-clamp terminals for both input and output terminations. The output terminals can accept bare / stranded wire from 3-14 AWG. Specifications for alternative termination methods are available in the product datasheet.
