Product Datasheet: Carlo Gavazzi RGC2A60D25KKE Solid State Relay

  • Product Description:

The Carlo Gavazzi RGC2A60D25KKE solid state relay is a compact, 54mm DIN rail mount solid state relay capable of switching 25 amp three-phase loads at line voltages between 42Vac and 660Vac in a 40°C ambient. Known for Quality and reliability, the Carlo Gavazzi RGC2A60D25KKE solid state relay incorporates internal overvoltage protection and utilizes rugged back-to-back SCRs to switch power to/from electrical loads, making them the ideal switching solution in residential, commercial or harsh industrial environments.

The output of the RGC2A60D25KKE uses SCRs to switch two legs of a three-phase AC load. An internal bus connects the third leg to the three-phase load (no switching function). This reduces the total power dissipation by 33% since load current only flows through two pairs of SCRs, allowing for higher overall load-current ratings.

The input of the RGC2A60D25KKE can accept control signals from 5Vdc to 32Vdc

The Carlo Gavazzi RGC2A60D25KKE DIN mount solid state relay utilizes screw terminals with captive washers for both the input and output terminals. The input terminals can accept bare / stranded wire from 12-18 AWG, while the output terminals can accept bare / stranded wire from 10-14 AWG. Specifications for alternative termination methods are available in the product datasheet.

Typical Carlo Gavazzi three-phase solid state relay applications include resistive heating and motor control.

Additional Features and Benefits of the Carlo Gavazzi RGC2A60D25KKE
